Chelsea charged by FA

Chelsea charged by FA

10/25/2011 07:47:02 PM

Chelsea have been charged by the Football Association for failing to control their players during Sunday's 1-0 defeat to QPR at Loftus Road.

Both Jose Bosingwa and Didier Drogba received red cards in the first half of the match, while a further seven of their team-mates were booked by referee Chris Foy.

The FA charge relates to the actions of the Chelsea players following Bosingwa’s dismissal early in the game when they surrounded Foy.

Chelsea manager Andre Villa-Boas has also been asked by the FA to explain his post-match comments which saw him criticise Foy and his assistants for their performance during the fiercely contested Premier League clash.

Chelsea have been given until October 28 to respond to the charge.

Hope the FA throw the book at them. They been getting away with murder these chelsea players, thinking they can do whatever they like whenever they like. Especially JT, what a nasty piece of work he really is, and its not the first time either, a few years back he did something very similar at White Hart Lane to Ledley King, but it was swept under the carpet as he was the new England captain
