Cahill blow for Everton

Cahill blow for Everton

02/20/2010 03:12:44 AM

Socceroos superstar Tim Cahill has been ruled out of action for three weeks after suffering a calf injury.

Cahill was substituted midway through the second half of Everton's 2-1 Europa League victory over Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday.

He will miss Saturday night's blockbuster clash with Manchester United and also the return leg against Sporting in Portugal.

Everton will also be without Marouane Fellaini and boss David Moyes is getting frustrated with the growing injury toll.

"It has been a really difficult season not helped by losing Marouane Fellaini and Tim Cahill," he said.

"We seemed to be saying we were getting players back."

"It is as well we do feel in good fettle because we are winning, we are on a run. We have got to watch we don't lose any more."
