Rafael Benitez has been confirmed as the new coach of Inter Milan.
The club announced on Friday the Spaniard has signed a two-year deal at the San Siro.
Inter, the Italian and European champion, moved swiftly to snap up Benitez, who left Liverpool last week as it sought a replacement for Jose Mourinho who left for Real Madrid.
Benitez is to be introduced at a press conference on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan and former coach Jose Mourinho have been fined 25,000 Euros apiece for comments made by the Portuguese boss while in charge of the Nerazzurri.
Mourinho, who left the San Siro for Real Madrid last month, has paid the price for his words following Inter's victory over Roma in the Coppa Italia final.
"Since they didn't have to pay out rewards for the cup, Roma could give more money to Siena," he said in reference to the fact that relegated Siena had offered the players a bumper bonus if they could beat Inter on the final day of the season.
Inter went on to win the match 1-0 and clinch the Scudetto, beating Roma by two points.
