Brisbane Roar have jumped to second on the A-League ladder after Todd Howarth's own goal deep into injury time handed them a 2-1 victory over Perth Glory at nib Stadium.
In an engrossing encounter, Brisbane took the lead just 80 seconds into the game when Reinaldo slammed the ball home from close range.
Perth responded by breaking down the Roar's resolute defence just four minutes later as Scott Neville nodded home a powerful header.
In a dramatic finale, both sides were on the attack, but it was Brisbane who took maximum points as second-half-substitute Rocky Visconte found himself on the end of a late counter attack.
Glory midfielder Todd Howarth desperately attempted to gain possession with a sliding challenge on Visconte, only to see the ball deflect into goal off the underside of Visconte's boot.
The result sees Brisbane return to second on the Hyundai A-League table as the Glory stay in seventh following their fourth consecutive loss.
The crowd had barely settled when Reinaldo gave his side the lead just 80 seconds into the game. Thomas Broich produced a penetrating run down the left, ducking and weaving through challenges before crossing for the Brazilian to slam home.
But the Glory responded through a Fowler corner from the right, Mile Sterjovski nodding the ball back from the far post for Neville to power in the equaliser.
Michael Baird then missed two good chances for the Glory as he was denied spectacularly by Michael Theoklitos.
In a thrilling affair, Roar substitute Mitch Nichols netted an effort in the 67th minute that was denied by a dubious offside call.
But the Roar still won the day as Howarth's late effort saw the visitors claim maximum points on the road for the first time this season.
