All matters relating to your account can be accessed through the link 'My Account' located at the top left hand corner of any page once logged in.
There are several sections to My Account. This page summarizes the majority explaining exactly what they do and how they can help you.
Account Summary
The first screen is a summary of your account. It displays funds available, current exposure (if you have any bets on).
From this screen you can select more detailed information regarding your account by selecting one of the links from the left-hand menu.
Account Statement
This details every action on your account whether in the casino, poker room or the sporting exchange.
You can select to just view sports betting or deposits and withdrawals by selecting from the drop-down menu.
Deposit funds
This allows you to deposit funds into your account using a variety of methods such as credit and debit cards, and internet-based banking facilities such as Moneybookers and Neteller.
Transfer Funds
In order to bet on Australian markets, you need to transfer funds into your Australian wallet as part of the conditions of our Australian licence. Your account will automatically have Australian and UK wallets set up. To withdraw funds from the Aus wallet, you will need to have your identity verified. For more details please click here
There is no cost for transferring between the two wallets. Select which wallet you would like to take funds from, type in the amount, and select the receiving licence wallet. To complete the transfer click 'Make Transfer'.
Both the deposit and transfer functions can be accessed from the top right hand corner of the normal Betfair page.
Withdraw Funds
Enables you to withdraw funds to your bank card or chosen method of funding your account. For details about methods of payment and withdrawal, please visit payments.betfair.com
Card Details
You can have up to three cards registered with Betfair at any one time. Your total deposits and withdrawals and net position with each card are displayed.
Betfair accepts Visa & Mastercard credit cards and Visa Delta, Maestro, Electron & Laser debit cards. No fees apply for debit cards, however credit cards incur a 1.5% processing fee.
Once a card is registered, you can change the billing address, expiry date, start date or issue number, as appropriate.
You can unregister a card once you have made a successful deposit with that card and your total withdrawals are equal to, or greater than, your total deposits.
Current Bets
This displays all bets you currently have placed on the exchange.
By selecting from the drop-down menu choose which bet status to display.
Betting History
This works in a similar way to Current Bets.
Select your type of bet, sport, time period and bet status by using the drop down menus across the top of the screen
Betting Profit and Loss
This displays your overall profit and loss over a given time period.
Select your P&L for the last three hours, seven days etc by selecting from the drop-down menu, or type your own dates into the input boxes (up to three months ago).
When a time period is selected (maximum 90 days), the P&L for individual sports is detailed and can be expanded into specific markets by clicking on the selected sport.
If you wish to check your records further back than 90 days, contact the helpdesk.
This feature is something a bookmaker will never let you have. They don't want to tell you where you are losing the most, whereas Betfair genuinely want you to win.
My Profile
Personal details are listed here and can be edited.
Limits for deposits and losses can be set to control and monitor your gambling over given periods of time.
If your Betfair account appears to be an hour out in the settings, you may be registered in GMT rather than UKT. Use the timezone settings to correct this.
