Moore returns

Moore returns for Roar

23/11/2008 5:50 PM

Queensland Roar captain Craig Moore is set to complete a remarkable recovery from testicular cancer in Sunday's Hyundai A-League match against the Perth Glory at Suncorp Stadium.

Moore will amazingly take his place in Queensland's starting line-up against Perth just 12 days after undergoing surgery for the illness.

The 32-year-old, who was diagnosed with the disease little more than a fortnight ago, will look to inspire his team to its first home victory of the season.

The stakes are high for the Roar heading into this match, which is now set to be emotion-charged, as a victory over bottom-placed Glory will see them move into third spot on the ladder.
