Invincibile on target for Kilmarnock

Australian striker Danny Invincibile scored in Kilmarnock's impressive 2-0 win at Dundee United, but manager Jim Jefferies was not getting carried away despite watching his team go top of the SPL.
Midfielder Gavin Skelton capped his first start for the Ayrshire men since signing from Gretna with his first goal just before the interval after the home side had dominated the first half.
Former Brisbane and Marconi player Invincibile sealed the victory with a fine strike in the 58th minute leaving Jefferies's men top of the SPL, albeit perhaps only until the Old Firm play at Parkhead on Sunday.
Elsewhere, Hearts avoided a hangover from their shock Co-operative Insurance Cup exit when they returned to winning ways against Hamilton.
Goals from Marius Zaliukas and Andrew Driver secured the three points and ensured there would be no lingering fallout from Wednesday's epic second-round cup tie against Airdrie.
Accies did hit back through substitute Derek Lyle late on but it was not enough to prevent them slumping to their second successive top-flight reverse following last week's defeat at Kilmarnock.
St Mirren paid the price for missed chances and sloppy defending as Darren Mackie's sucker punch earned Aberdeen their second away win of the season.
Other winners were Inverness 2-1 over Falkirk, Motherwell by the only goal of the match at Hibs.
