drilling home Sydney's second goal of the night after his initial strike was saved by Tomich.

Tomich pulled off a fantastic one-handed save to deny Patrick a second goal in the 82nd minute, while Glory substitute Nikita Rukavytsya should have put the contest beyond doubt when Robinson sent him into the penalty area with only the keeper to beat.

But it would prove to be a story of heartbreak for the Glory, with Brosque squeezing home the sixth goal of the night from point-blank range after an excellent nod-down from Patrick to break the hearts of the 6876 fans in attendance.

Perth 3 (Harnwell 53, Robinson 59, Prentice 69)
Sydney 3 (Brosque 39, 90+3, Patrick 72)

Crowd: 6876 @ Members Equity Stadium
