The Victorian Bushranges have announced a squad of 15 players that will compete in the inaugural Champions League Twenty20 tournament in India next month.
The Bushrangers won the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash for the third consecutive time in January to qualify for the tournament along with runners-up Western Australia.
Captain and current Australian all-rounder Cameron White will lead the side that includes six players - Brad Hodge, David Hussey, Peter Siddle, Shane Harwood, Darren Pattinson and White - who have participated at international level.
Hussey, Hodge and White have also all experienced Twenty20 cricket in India having competed in the IPL earlier this year. Coach Greg Shipperd also led the Delhi Daredevils to the semifinals of the same tournament.
The batting line-up will be headlined by Aiden Blizzard and the in-form Robert Quiney, as well as heavy hitter Aaron Finch.
Dirk Nannes, Clint McKay, Darren Pattinson, Peter Siddle and Shane Harwood will share the bowling duties with Nannes choosing to play for the Vics after helping Middlesex to their domestic Twenty20 title.
All-rounders Andrew McDonald and John Hastings are important for their versatility, while Adam Crosthwaite and Matthew Wade are the two wicketkeepers in the squad.
"We've got a really good squad with a lot of depth, so we can choose the best team for the conditions and our opponents," Shipperd said.
"We've only lost one game in this format over that past three years so we're confident in our own abilities, but it will be a whole new game over there with many talented players and teams competing."
"We're looking forward to the challenge."
Victoria is in Group A and will play round-robin matches against Middlesex, Titans from South Africa and IPL runners-up Chennai Super Kings.
The Bushrangers will play Middlesex in the opening match of the tournament in Mumbai on December 3 with the final to be staged in Chennai a week later.
