Shaun Tait's tight hamstring and international commitments for Younus Khan will see the Redbacks blood another two players for their Weet-Bix Sheffield Shield match against the Warriors.
Left-arm swing bowler Gary Putland replaces Tait while rookie James Smith slots into the batting order. Khan is heading to Abu Dabi to play with Pakistan.
Both Putland and Smith have worn Redbacks' colours before but not in a four-day clash.
Tait's precautionary stint on the sidelines has forced South Australia to field a new-look bowling attack.
Putland joins former Victorian Allan Wise, who's played just three games with the Redbacks, and Peter George who made his debut against Tasmania earlier this week.
Coach Mark Sorell says he hopes the new players bring excitement and enthusiasm to the line-up, as was the case when George steamed in against the Tigers.
"He kept the pressure going on, he's obviously tall so he gets a bit of bounce and it was a great debut," he said.
"He was pretty excited about making his debut and then to take six wickets in the game, he's over the moon."
Sorell said George could prove a handful for other teams this summer.
"They certainly don't know much about him but they'll do their research on him and find out about him and it's going to be tougher. He's got a lot of key credentials to succeed," he said.
The inclusion of Smith is another blow for Mark Cosgrove who's played just the one Ford Ranger Cup game this season. Sorell said the team would continue to reward those who were displaying form at a lower level.
"He (Smith) is a young lad that's been in our system for a few years now … so we are keen to see how he goes," Sorell said.
"That's the great thing about our group now; that you really have to play well to get in and he's done that."
