Yuvi: Fielding did us in

Pune Warriors India skipper Yuvraj Singh on Sunday said poor fielding performance by his players led to their six-wicket defeat against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh stadium.

Being asked to bat, Pune posted a modest 143 for seven in 20 overs at the Sawai Mansingh stadium. Rajasthan, in reply, easily chased down the target with three balls to spare.

The win sees Rajasthan on top of the IPL standings with 11 points while Pune are placed at the bottom with just four points.

"Today's (Sunday) loss was a result of poor fielding. If you drop catches of three of their main batsmen, it's difficult to win matches. Now we are in such a situation where another loss would mean that we are out of the competition. Not a great feeling though," said Yuvraj at the post-match presentation.

On being asked why he was not bowling despite being one of the top wicket-takers in the recently concluded World Cup, Yuvraj said: "During the World Cup I could to concentrate only on my bowling. Now, I need to concentrate on too many things at the same time."

Rajasthan skipper Shane Warne was elated with the win. He said: "Fantastic win for us. Very happy with the way the team has come through."

"We have a good environment in our team. The youngsters can express themselves and are not afraid to ask questions. It has been a great experience with the franchise."

"It's good that we have won so many games over here (Sawai Mansingh stadium) and we would like to win the remaining games as well."
