Australia's Shane Watson is unsure whether he will be fit in time for the tri-series final in Perth on Sunday, but he insists he has no such concerns over the upcoming World Cup.

Watson missed Australia's three-wicket victory over England on Friday, as well as the clash with India on Monday, which was abandoned after 16 overs, due to a hamstring problem.

India and England go head-to-head in Perth this Friday, where the winner will book a place in the final at the same venue two days later.

Watson is not certain that he will be able to take part but, after a series of hamstring issues he is not taking any chances with a home World Cup on the horizon.

"[It's] nothing too serious, but more so a precaution just to make sure it settles down over this week and be ready to go again by Sunday in Perth," he said.

"If not then, the practice matches leading into the World Cup."

After Sunday's final, Australia take on India and the United Arab Emirates in warm-up matches, before they kick off their World Cup campaign against England in Melbourne on February 14.
