There is plenty of history when it comes to underarming in Australia v New Zealand matches, however this time around it wasn’t a player who created such a stir.
After collecting a ball that had been dispatched to the boundary off the bowling of Josh Hazlewood, a security guard attempted to throw the pink Kookaburra back to Nathan Lyon, but instead lobbed it over his own head.
The man outside the rope managed regain some respect, successfully tossing the ball back to Lyon on his second attempt before shuffling deep into his chair on the fence.
The crowd certainly had some fun at the expense of the man in fluoro-yellow, loudly cheering and jeering him as he tried to hide himself from view.
