Performances of the Weekend

Strength - John Folau

The brother of Israel was in barnstorming form against Souths.

He barely seemed to notice the defenders crawling all over him as he ran the ball.

With two tries, two linebreaks and five tackle busts his effort was the strongest of the weekend.

Skill - Mile Jedinak

What an amazing free-kick against the World Champions Germany.

Watch and celebrate our Aussie captain's insanely skillful performance.

Mental Toughness - Mitchell Starc

In front of 90,000 screaming fans the pressure was well and truely on Mitchell Starc in the first over of the Cricket World Cup Final.

He was bowling to one of the most dangerous batsmen in the world in Brendon McCullum and managed to get him out third ball.

What an amazing display of mental toughness to live up to all the hype and excel under pressure.

Endurance - Johnathan Thurston

There may not have been much room for improvement with the consisten Johnathan Thurston but he was pretty close to perfect in the dying stages of Monday Night Footy.

After 78 minutes of a hard, physical game against a well-drilled Storm outfit he came up with a perfect sideline conversion, then slotted two field goals, one in the 79th and then another perfect strike 84 minutes in to bring the Cowboys their first victory of 2015.

What a performance from the under-fire skipper.
