Kevin Pietersen slams "silly" England

KP

Pietersen watched England’s second Test disaster from Miami and was quick to tweet his frustrations to his 2.7 million followers.

With over 8000 runs at an average of 47.28, KP is one of England’s most accomplished batsmen ever.

The 35-year-old played the last of his 104 Tests in England’s shocking 2013/14 Ashes campaign in Australia where he only averaged 29.

He later fell out with English management and hasn’t played a Test since.

After winning the first Ashes Test of 2015 convincingly, England crumbled to a 405 run loss in the second encounter at Lord’s with the side being dismissed for a paltry 103 in the fourth innings.

Pietersen always divides opinion, but he had at least one high-profile supporter from behind enemy lines.

Socceroo star Tim Cahill responded to Pietersen's complaints with a couple of tweets of support.

Does Pietersen have a point, or should he just shut up?
