Glenn Maxwell clears the air with trash talking

Glenn Maxwell

Kings XI may have continued their unbeaten start to the competition with a seven-wicket win over the Cobras, but Maxwell only played a bit-part in the victory as he was bowled for 23 off 19 deliveries.

As he left the field, Maxwell took out his frustrations, hitting a rubbish bin by the player’s race.

For his efforts, Maxwell was reprimanded for breaching the CLT20 Code of Behaviour for the abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings.

The Australian admitted to the Level 1 offence and apologised for his actions on Twitter.
