Yorkshire coach Jason Gillespie insists it will take a lot of persuading for him to leave and take charge of England.
Gillespie has long been the bookmakers' favourite to replace Peter Moores, who left his role 10 days ago.
New director of England cricket Andrew Strauss said last week that former Australia bowler Gillespie is a "front-runner" for the job.
Since taking over Yorkshire in 2011, Gillespie has enjoyed great success, leading them to the County Championship title in 2014.
And asked by BBC Sport about his links with the England vacancy, Gillespie said: "It's very flattering. [But] I love my job here at Yorkshire.
"The Yorky boys have been giving me enough grief about it, which has been quite funny. But I haven't had any contact and until that happens I can't say anything.
"It would certainly take some persuading [to leave]. I wake up every morning and I'm in my dream job. It's just fantastic, but I don't know what the future holds."
