Shane Warne has gone from Liz Hurley to Tinder as the legendary spinner seems to have taken to Twitter to express his disappointment as some late-night Adelaide lovin’– set up through popular dating app Tinder – went public.

According to reports in News Corp papers, an Adelaide mother has told the story of her Tinder dates with Warnie to Woman’s Day magazine.

This week’s cover for Woman’s Day features 43-year-old, Kim McGrath, with the heading: My Saucy Date with Warnie: ‘He was the best I’ve ever had’.

“He’s very strong in the bedroom,” said McGrath in Woman's Day. “He was definitely in charge.

“He asked me to keep them [some high heels] on while he spanked me.”

Warne was in Adelaide at the time commentating for Channel 9 during the first Test of the summer when he apparently jumped onto the app as Shane, 45 and turned his texting fingers to Tinder for some late-night shenanigans.

“From the outset I thought it was a joke — my friend and I were rolling about laughing when I sent the message and I didn’t really believe it was Shane Warne until he walked in my door,” McGrath was quoted as saying in the magazine.

“I was blown away that it really was him.”

Australian fans have long hoped to see Warne and McGrath in action again, but seeing them at the same end may not have been quite what they had in mind.

Warne is yet to comment about the story but sent out this tweet on Tuesday afternoon. At the time his reasons for sending it appeared a mystery as there was no context to his comment but now it seems likely he’s referring to this story coming out.
