Bulls pip SA in thriller

Queensland have scored a thrilling Ryobi One-Day Cup win over South Australia in Townsville on Sunday.

The Bulls scampered through for a desperate bye on the second-last ball of the innings to eclipse the Redbacks' 6-258.

Ben Dunk finished not out 18 off 11 balls and Nathan Rimmington was unbeaten on one off two balls as Queensland totalled 7-259.

Chris Lynn (70 off 73 balls) top-scored for the Bulls.

Earlier Queensland kept the Redbacks to 4-88 from their first 20 overs.

Queensland replied with 2-101 off their first 20 overs to claim a 13-run lead.

But South Australia came storming back into the match when Dan Christian (100 off 90 balls) and Tom Cooper (71 off 82 balls) a shared 126-run partnership for the fifth wicket.

That left the home side needing 158 runs for victory.
