Australia captain George Bailey is glad he and the rest of his team-mates will be rescued from facing a fired-up Mitchell Johnson when Sunday's tri-series final with England comes around.
Johnson has been rested throughout the tournament so far, which saw Australia win all three completed matches, with one abandoned against India due to rain.
Sunday's final in Perth sees the hosts take on England, who overcame India by three wickets on Friday to secure their place in the showpiece, with both sides looking for a win that would provide a timely boost ahead of the Cricket World Cup.
England's meeting with India at the WACA saw some uneven bounce on a wicket that provided assistance for the seam bowlers, and Bailey is delighted to be able to call upon Johnson.
"I heard a couple of balls were a little bit nasty which can happen here," he said.
"A little bit more work being done on the wicket today but that's what we like to see at the WACA, a few balls playing up.
"It's tempting to play all four quicks, I reckon, when you see a wicket like that.
"We are sitting down to sort that out but we are really happy that Mitchell Johnson is back and not that happy that he has been building up his overs in the nets.
"So it will be nice to actually see him unleash on the opposition rather than us being a cannon-fodder for the last couple of days which has been a bit nasty."
