White to have x-rays

Victorian skipper Cameron White is expected to have x-rays on Monday after being floored by a bouncer from his New South Wales counterpart Moises Henriques in Saturday night's Big Bash clash at the MCG.
White was on seven when struck flush on the jaw in the 10th over of the match which the Bushrangers went on to win with just two balls to spare in a thrilling finish.
The delivery snuck under the grill of White's helmet while he was attempting to hook Henriques during the critical middle stages of Victoria's run-chase.
Dazed and disoriented, White fell to his knees and took several minutes to compose himself after being examined by team doctor Trefor James.
The home crowd of more than 25,000 let out a huge roar when White elected to play on but the 26-year-old was dismissed soon after for 14 from 18 deliveries to one of the catches of the season, a one-handed take on the boundary rope at long-on by Dwayne Smith.
"He's pretty sore at the moment," said Bushrangers coach Greg Shipperd of White. "That was a great show of courage on behalf of the team."
"He got the helmet on and did his best to get the momentum flowing our way."
"We and the team really appreciated that show of character."
White was nursing an ice-pack in the rooms after the match and it's understood doctors are keen for any swelling to subside before x-rays can establish whether there's any structural damage.
