New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori will make his KFC Twenty20 Big Bash debut for Queensland in Wednesday's clash with NSW at Homebush.
Vettori was named in a 13-man Bulls squad replacing all-rounder Nathan Reardon in the only change to the side that defeated Tasmania at the Gabba last Friday night.
The Bulls have retained left-arm paceman Scott Walter after he replaced Ben Laughlin last week.
Vettori will fly into Sydney from New Zealand on Wednesday and link with the Queensland squad to prepare for the game that night.
The 30-year-old has taken 44 wickets at 19.9 in 36 Twenty20 internationals for New Zealand and averages 16 with the bat with a strike rate of 127.75.
This will be Vettoriās only Big Bash appearance in the qualifying rounds though he is available for the preliminary final on 19 January should Queensland finish either second or third.
