Sri Lanka will be out for revenge when they meet India for the first time since the ICC World Cup final last year.
Sri Lanka lost by six wickets in the final in New Delhi in April, and will meet their conqueror for the first time in the second match of the Commonwealth Bank Series in Perth on Wednesday.
A lot has changed since the World Cup final - India enter the match off the back of a 4-0 Test series whitewash, and an opening tri-series defeat by Australia.
Virender Sehwag will be restored to the Indian top order and the right-hander said he is keen to get off to a quick start.
"I tried to play a little different in Perth because the ball was doing something but it didn't work and that's why I went back on my own style," Sehwag said.
"I will do so in ODIs because there are only 50 overs and you want to give a good start to the team, so my aim is to go there and give a good start."
The Sri Lankans also find themselves surrounded by negative press, highlighted by their recent tour of South Africa.
The island nation sacked coach Geoff Marsh while Tillakaratne Dilshan became the second captain to stand down in the last 12 months.
And as they look for revenge over their World Cup conquerers, Sri Lanka all-rounder Angelo Mathews is under no illusions as to the size of his team's task.
"They (India) haven't played very well in the Test series and that is a plus point for us which we can take into the game," Matthews said.
"But they are a different team when it comes to one-dayers and, as we all know, they are the current world champions and they can come really hard at us tomorrow. So we are up for it and we are ready to go."
