Queensland quick Ben Cutting has ripped through the West Australian tail to finish with a five-wicket haul but the Bulls will start their second innings 108 in arrears.
Resuming at 4-250, the Warriors were all out for 359 at lunch on the third day at the Gabba.
They were hit by a whirlwind as the Sheffield Shield's most dominant player of 2011-12 took his figures from 0-56 to 5-99.
After three consecutive partnerships of over 50 runs helped the visitors off to a great start on the second day, Queensland will feel they've done well to restrict the visitors to a surmountable lead.
With five sessions of play remaining in the game, Darren Lehman's attack-minded Bulls will no doubt be playing for the outright win, hoping to cement hosting rights of the Shield final.
Shaun Marsh's 79 remained the best effort from the Warriors, after openers' Liam Davis (68) and Wes Robinson (42) provided a great start.
Mitchell Marsh punched Alister McDermott through the covers for four in the third over of the day to take the Warriors past the Bulls' first innings 251, and in partnership with Adam Voges, looked ready to bat a long stint.
But the breakthrough came for Queensland in the 15th over of the day, with Marsh rocking back to pull a Cutting delivery and finding himself trapped in front of his pegs when the ball stayed low.
The slice of luck spurred the big Bull and from that point the wickets came in regular intervals.
Ronchi had four boundaries in his first two overs facing Cutting, before an inside edge ballooned off his pad and back to the bowler, ending his cameo at 18.
Former Bull Nathan Rimmington went for nought with a thick edge to Cameron Boyce at gully, and then Voges continued the precession of Cutting wickets with a feathered glance down the leg-side caught by Hartley, and then Coulter-Nile gave him his fourth wicket in four overs with a spliced scoop to square-leg in the 104th.
Cameron Boyce had his first wicket, removing No.11 Adam Hogan, taking the Warriors collapse from 4-278 to all out 359.
Taking some shine from the Bulls' morning session was an ankle injury sustained by Michael Neser, who rolled his ankle on the first delivery of his 15th over and could not continue on.
