Shahid Afridi has been selected in Pakistan's Twenty20 and one-day squads for the series with England in the United Arab Emirates.
The 31-year-old former captain was not involved in Pakistan's 3-0 Test series sweep over England, but has been recalled for the four-match one-day international series and the three T20 games to follow.
Afridi is one of four men selected for the limited-overs matches who did not feature in the Test series; the others being Wahab Riaz, Umar Akmal and Imran Farhat.
Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq will captain the side in both the shortened formats, with the first one-day international taking place in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
