Washington transfer Nigel Williams-Goss has committed to Gonzaga, ESPN reported Sunday.

"I feel that their track record of winning at a high level, developing players during their redshirt year and their up-tempo offense that includes a ton of ball screens is an overall good fit for me," Williams-Goss told ESPN.

The 6-3 guard and former McDonald’s All-American announced he was leaving Washington in early April. Williams-Goss reportedly considered UNLV, Providence and Ohio State before ultimately choosing Gonzaga. According to NCAA transfer rules, Williams-Goss must sit out the 2015-16 season but will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Last season, Williams-Goss started every game and averaged 15.6 points, 5.9 assists and 4.7 rebounds, which earned him second-team All-Pac-12 honors. Washington finished 16-15 and 5-13 in Pac-12 play while Gonzaga finished 35-3 and 17-1 in WCC play before falling to national champion Duke in the Elite Eight.
