Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors won a record 60th game of the season to seal top spot in the Western Conference after outlasting the Milwaukee Bucks 108-95.

Curry posted 25 points and six assists to lead the NBA-leading Warriors to a 10th consecutive victory in a milestone game at BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

Saturday's road win saw the Warriors (60-13) set a franchise record of 60 wins, meaning Golden State cannot be overhauled by Western Conference rivals the Memphis Grizzlies, who are 10 games adrift with nine regular-season matches remaining.

"Wins and losses might not matter when it comes to the standings but we want to win as many games as possible and we want to feel good about how we're going into the play-offs," Curry said.

"That's the test for us over these next nine games."

Klay Thompson (21), Harrison Barnes (13), David Lee (12), James Michael McAdoo (12) and Marreese Speights (12) all had double-digit points for the Warriors.

The Bucks were led by Khris Middleton and his 14 points.

LaMarcus Aldridge starred as the Portland Trail Blazers edged closer to the Northwest Division title via a 120-114 win over the Denver Nuggets.

Aldridge scored 32 points and collected 11 rebounds to help the Trail Blazers (47-25) increase their lead in the division to six-and-a-half games after the Oklahoma City Thunder (41-32) lost 94-89 to the Utah Jazz.

The Jazz rallied from 16 points down to beat the Thunder, despite 37 points from Russell Westbrook.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Hornets were both victorious.

Nikola Mirotic had 24 points off the bench as the Bulls won 111-80 against the lowly New York Knicks, who were condemned to a franchise-record 60th loss.

The Hornets downed the depleted Atlanta Hawks, who rested DeMarre Carroll, Kyle Korver, Al Horford and Paul Millsap, 115-100.
