Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle turned into his doppelganger Jim Carrey and had some jokes during Sunday night's news conference.

After his team defeated the Rockets, 121-109, he was in a lighter mood and had a fun exchange with a reporter, who was asking about the fouls that occurred during the game, and this is how Carlisle responded.

"You asking me a question about the officiating? I brought something just for that."

The coach then pulled out tape and placed it over his mouth so that he wouldn't have to face another fine. Carlisle was docked $25,000 after Game 3 for comments he made about the officiating.

“That stuff’s got to stop,” Carlisle said, via the Dallas Morning News. “The officials [have] got to get that stuff under control, because there’s too much physical stuff going on. [Dwight] Howard is throwing people all over the place. And that can’t happen in Game 4."

“They’re a more physical team,” Carlisle said, “but this series has got to be played within the rules."
