A list of teams are interested in newly waived JaVale McGee, including two Western Conference clubs bound for the playoffs.
According to ESPN's Marc Stein, the Mavericks are one of several teams "seriously interested" in signing the 27-year-old big man.

The 76ers waived McGee Sunday, so he could sign with a playoff team. He's expected to clear waivers by Wednesday, and then teams will begin their scramble to sign him.
With the absence of Tyson Chandler and Chandler Parsons, Dallas has been struggling since the All-Star Break, posting a 3-3 record. The Mavericks are currently sixth in the Western Conference.
On the other end of the spectrum, fellow ESPN reporter Chris Broussard also reported Tuesday the league-leading Warriors could be in line for his services:

McGee has been a small presence on the court; in the last 23 games he has averaged 4.6 points and 2.7 rebounds.
