Skill - Bernard Foley
It was the weekend of Grand Final rematches across the codes, but none meant more than when the Waratahs faced the Crusaders. With a win vital for both sides’ finals aspirations, Bernard Foley was inspirational, with three conversions, two penalty goals, and a 77th-minute chip and chase try that saw the Waratahs repeat their heroics from last year’s Super Rugby final.

Mental toughness - Josh Reynolds
After being overlooked for a spot in the Blues halves, Josh Reynolds could have sulked and moaned. Rather than do that, he came out and responded. With two tries and the winning field goal to his name, Reynolds’ responded to his critics with his best performance of the season.
Endurance - Scott Pendlebury
Pendlebury fronted up for his 200th AFL game against the Suns on the weekend, and despite facing criticism over his form and fitness, complied one of the best games of his career. Pendles’ 35 disposal, seven mark, three tackle and three goal effort was a true show of endurance and grit.

Strength - Matthew Dellavedova
Cleveland Cavaliers fill-in guard Matthew Dellavedova has made a name for himself over the NBA Playoffs, and has also come under fire for being too physical and tough. Are they kidding?! Delly’s strength has helped take his Cavs to a 3-0 lead over the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Finals.
