The Hawks may have lost an emerging star, but it looks like they will keep a current one.

Atlanta has reportedly reached a three-year, $59 million deal with All-Star forward Paul Millsap.

That’s especially good news for the Hawks after forward DeMarre Caroll agreed to a 4-year, $60 million deal with the Raptors earlier Wednesday.

A second round draft pick in 2006, the 6-8 Millsap has become one of the NBA’s best low-post scorers. He averaged 16.7 points per game in 2014-15, making the Eastern Conference All-Star team for the second consecutive year and helping the Hawks secure the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Millsap reportedly declined a four-year, $80 million contract offer from the Magic.
