The NCAA will announce the findings of its investigation into Syracuse's athletic program at a noon ET news conference Friday, according to Syracuse.com.

The NCAA finished its investigation in October when Syracuse released a statement saying the potential problems in the football and basketball programs happened “years ago,” along with another possible violation that likely centered around Fab Melo’s academic record from 2010-2012, according to Syracuse.com.

A source told Syracuse.com the older violations may have included improper documentation of internship hours that athletes completed at a local YMCA.

Syracuse self-imposed a postseason ban Feb. 5 that will keep the men's basketball program out of both the ACC and NCAA Tournaments.
