Kevin Love could be returning to Los Angeles. The former UCLA star will meet with the Lakers, according to ESPN's Chris Broussard.

Love was a first-round pick of the Timberwolves in the 2008 NBA Draft and spent six seasons in Minnesota before joining the Cavaliers last year. Love opted out of his Cleveland contract last week, as did Cavs leader LeBron James. While James will reportedly not entice Love to stay in Cleveland, they were seen hanging out together at a pool in L.A. ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported that Love, too, is likely to re-sign with the Cavaliers, but that is not going to stop teams like the Lakers from trying to recruit him.

Love, a three-time All-Star, averaged 16.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game last season. He averaged 14.3 points and seven boards in four playoff games before a shoulder injury against the Celtics ended his season.
