LaMarcus Aldridge has decided to go from the star with the Trail Blazers to one of many — with the five-time champion Spurs.

Yahoo Sports reported the agreement first and that the contract will be for four years and $80 million, with a player option after the third season. That likely means San Antonio will have to clear cap space to make the move.

In nine seasons with the Trail Blazers, Aldridge averaged 19.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. He's averaged a double-double with at least 23 points and 10 rebounds per game in each of the last two seasons.

Aldridge, a four-time All-Star, was set to visit seven teams at the onset of free agency, the first being the Lakers — who reportedly didn’t impress the 29-year-old big man.

Now with the Spurs, who traded Tiago Splitter to the Hawks on Tuesday, Aldridge will pair with Kawhi Leonard and Tim Duncan for probably the best frontcourt in the NBA.
