Kyrie Irving will be taking a little time off after injuring his left shoulder during the Cavaliers' victory over Golden State on Thursday.

According to the Cavs, Irving stayed behind after the team departed for a two-game road trip against Indiana and Houston in order to undergo further testing on his shoulder.

MRI results revealed that Irving has a strain in his left shoulder, and he will be receiving additional treatment Saturday and Sunday in Cleveland.

Irving, who already missed Friday night's game against the Pacers, will miss Sunday's game in Houston and have his status updated by the team on Tuesday. It will be determined then whether he plays in Tuesday night's game against the Celtics.
