Irving 'questionable' for game three

KyrieIrving - Cropped

Cleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt insists Kyrie Irving will face the Atlanta Hawks if fit, denying Kyle Korver's season-ending injury would impact the decision.

Irving (knee) sat out game two of the Eastern Conference finals on Friday as the Cavs claimed a 94-82 win to take a 2-0 series lead.

Asked about Irving's availability, Blatt said: "He's questionable for tomorrow [Sunday].

"Hopefully, he responds well to the little workout he did today."

Blatt said the decision on Irving would come down to how the point guard was feeling and the doctor's decision.

Korver was ruled out for the rest of the NBA play-offs on Saturday due to an ankle injury.

After being told Korver would miss, Blatt was asked if that would play into resting Irving - but he denied it would.

"If he's able to play, then he'll play," he said.

"He's a big part of the team, and this series is not finished. But if he's not able to play, he won't. That's the determining factor."
