The lowly Nuggets handed the even more lowly Timberwolves a 100-85 loss Wednesday, but that didn’t stop Kevin Garnett from ripping into the Denver organization.

Before firing Brian Shaw on Tuesday, the Nuggets had lost 19 of their previous 21 games. Since his firing, Denver has won two straight. However, Garnett stood on his soapbox for Shaw.

“They quit on Brian Shaw,” Garnett said, via the Star Tribune. “I thought they’d quit again. Quitters are quitters. That was my take on it.”

Shaw clearly has a lot of support from players around the league, given the reaction from Pacers forward David West, who shared his displeasure with the firing Tuesday.

But if you’re the Nuggets front office, you can handle a few complaints if the team keeps winning games.
