LaMarcus Aldridge is keeping his options open during his free agency, and that includes another meeting with the Lakers on Thursday, USA Today reported.

This time, only Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak and coach Byron Scott were in the room with Aldridge and his representatives. The purpose of the second meeting was for Aldridge, Kupchak and Scott to focus on the game itself and how he would fit into the lineup, rather than the hullabaloo that surrounded the first meeting.

Reportedly, Kobe Bryant and Aldridge didn't gel very well, and Lakers owner Jeanie Buss' incessant tweets drew a bombardment of fans begging Aldridge to come to Los Angeles (Snoop Dogg and Adam Levine included).

Aldridge canceled a Thursday meeting with the Knicks to make his appointment with Lakers, so that's some good news for the franchise, which is desperate to land the four-time All-Star.

The 29-year-old has also visited with the Rockets, Spurs, Suns, Raptors and Mavericks. Not even the Trail Blazers, Aldridge's current team, is out of the mix quite yet. Damian Lillard, who finalized a five-year extension Thursday worth between $125 and $129 million with Portland, is trying to convince his teammate to stay.
