Rockets centre Dwight Howard has been suspended one game without pay after earning his fourth flagrant foul point of the 2015 NBA postseason, NBA President of Basketball Operations Rod Thorn announced Friday.

The incident took place in Houston's Game 5 loss to Golden State on Wednesday when Howard used his forearm to make contact with Warriors guard Andre Iguodala's neck late in the fourth quarter. The call was upgraded from a common foul to a flagrant foul 1 after further review by the league office.

Howard picked up his seventh technical foul of the postseason during the second quarter after having an altercation with Warriors centre Andrew Bogut, who also received a technical.

Howard, 29, will serve his suspension in the first game of the 2015-16 regular season.
