Chris Jones, a former Louisville basketball player, has been released from house arrest after he was charged with sodomy and rape last month.

Judge Barry Willett ordered that Jones and two co-defendants be released from house arrest, The Courier-Journal reported. Willett will be in charge of the grand jury that will hear the case later in April.

Jones has pleaded not guilty to raping one woman and sodomizing another in February and was released on $20,000 bond, according to WHAS television. Co-defendants Jalen Tilford and Tyvon Walker have also pleaded not guilty.

The accusations stem from two women — a 20-year-old and a 19-year-old. The 19-year-old victim identified Jones as the perpetrator, according to the warrant which was signed by a Jefferson District Judge.
