The battle between the Kings and the Bucks was almost as intense as the faceoff between Milwaukee coach Jason Kidd and a referee.

Kidd melted down with less than two minutes to go in the game Wednesday night, smacking the ball out of the official's hand and earning an ejection.

It's unclear if there was a specific call that made Kidd lose his temper, but he should expect a call from the league office.

Oh, and the Bucks lost, so that probably won't help Kidd's mood.

Afterwards, Kidd said he was frustrated at some of the calls going against his side in the 129-118 loss.

"I called a timeout - I walked all the way down to get a timeout - and Zach (referee Kach Zarba) asked me what I want.

"I told him I wanted a timeout and we had our discussion and he gave me the T and so from there I'm trying to protect my guys, understanding that we felt we were getting fouled and the whistle wasn't getting blown.

"It happens in this league, you have to stand up for yourself and my job is to protect those guys."

He told media he didn't even know how the game ended after being ejected with 1:49 to play.

"I was having a coke and some pop-corn, so I have no idea," he said.

"I was sent in early, so I don't know what happened."
