Bucks believe in Bulls series miracle

Bulls vs Bucks - Cropped

Milwaukee Bucks coach Jason Kidd said his side are staying in the moment, as they continued to prolong their series against the Chicago Bulls.

The Bucks' 94-88 triumph in game five at Chicago's United Center followed their thrilling 92-90 game four win that avoided a series sweep.

Now, a home Bucks win in game six would force a series decider back in Chicago, but Kidd - in his first season in Milwaukee as coach - said they had a 'nothing to lose' attitude.

"A lot of people look at it as house money," Kidd said.

"You can always talk about the future, but we don't. We don't really understand what the future holds for us.

"We've got to stay in the present. This is what this team has done all year. They haven't looked at the future. They've just stayed in the present.

"They've worked their tails off and they've put themselves in this position to make a series."

After the Bulls won by 12 and nine points respectively to take a 2-0 series lead, the Bucks have not lost in regulation - going down in double overtime in game three before back-to-back wins.

"We believe that we can beat this team, and we felt that we shouldn't be going home right now," Bucks guard Khris Middleton said.

Pau Gasol top scored for the Bulls with 25 points.

"Got to give credit to the Bucks for how they're competing, how they're giving themselves a chance," Gasol said.

"But we've done it to ourselves. Now we have a very difficult challenge in front of us. They have momentum. They have confidence. And they go home to force game seven.

"Let's see how we play game six, how we react to the situation as a team."
