Kawhi Leonard made a three-pointer with 2.9 seconds remaining to hand the San Antonio Spurs a 96-95 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.

The game-winning shot came after Dion Waiters made a jumper to give Cleveland a 95-93 lead with just 9.5 seconds to go.

Tony Parker had 24 points and seven assists for San Antonio, who have won 14 of their past 15 games, while Leonard and Tim Duncan added 13 points apiece.

Dion Waiters led the Cavaliers with 20 points, while fellow rookie Tyler Zeller posted 16 points and nine rebounds.

Elsewhere in the NBA, Brandon Bass had 14 points and nine rebounds as the Boston Celtics earned a 71-69 win over the Chicago Bulls.

Kevin Garnett added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Celtics, who have won eight of nine games without injured star Rajon Rondo.

In other games, Alan Anderson scored 26 points as the Toronto Raptors beat the New York Knicks 92-88 for their fourth consecutive win.

Josh Smith and Al Horford combined for 56 points, 22 rebounds and 10 assists to help the Atlanta Hawks thump the Orlando Magic 108-76.

The Milwaukee Bucks won 94-92 against the Philadelphia 76ers, with Monta Ellis scoring 19 of his 27 points in the second half to fire his side.

Paul George starred with 23 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists as the Indiana Pacers cruised to a 101-77 win over the Charlotte Bobcats and the Brooklyn Nets claimed a 119-108 victory over the Denver Nuggets.

Will Bynum scored 20 points off the bench to help the Detroit Pistons end the Washington Wizards' winning run with a 96-85 victory and the New Orleans Hornets prevailed 99-63 over the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Utah Jazz won 97-93 over the Minnesota Timberwolves, while Vince Carter led the Dallas Mavericks with 26 points off the bench in their 123-100 victory over the Sacramento Kings.

And Caron Butler scored 17 of his 19 points in the first quarter as the Los Angeles Clippers accounted for the Houston Rockets 106-96.
