LeBron ruins Kobe's big day

LeBron ruins Kobe's big day

01/22/2010 05:57:13 AM

Kobe Bryant became the 15th player in the history of the NBA to score 25,000 career points but his Los Angeles Lakers fell 93-87 to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Bryant, who enjoyed a memorable day personally with his milestone following a 12th selection for the All-Star Game earlier on, ultimately ended the day on a downer.

Despite his 31-point haul in Cleveland, James' 37 outshone his efforts and helped the Cavs to victory.

In Thursday's other game the Denver Nuggets handed the visiting Los Angeles Clippers a 105-85 beating.

Carmelo Anthony was again the pick for the Nuggets with 28.
