The Boston Celtics continued their strong run of form, marching to their fifth victory on the trot with a 94-84 win over the Charlotte Bobcats.
Kevin Garnett top-scored for the Celtics with 22 points, while Paul Pierce shot 15 to surpass club legend Larry Bird into second place on the all-time scoring list.

The Warriors were brilliantly led by guard Monta Ellis, who had 30 points at half-time on his way to 48 for the match, while David Lee contributed a triple-double for the cause, with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
But their efforts were not enough to derail the Western Conference leaders, who progressed to a 20-5 record for the season thanks to 33 points from Kevin Durant and 31 from Russell Westbrook.
Elsewhere, veteran point-guard Steve Nash scored the last two of his 18 points with just five seconds left to lift the Phoenix Suns to a 107-105 victory in Milwaukee over the Bucks, while the Indiana Pacers continued their strong start to the season with a 104-99 win against the Utah Jazz.
And the Minnesota Timberwolves scored an 86-84 victory over the Sacramento Kings, with Kings' forward Donte Greene missing from beyond the arc as time elapsed.
