The Miami Heat were surprise losers in the NBA on Sunday (local time), while the Los Angeles Lakers were edged by the Indiana Pacers.
LeBron James (28 points, 13 rebounds and five assists) and Chris Bosh (23 points) worked hard, but the Heat's three-match winning streak was ended in a 91-82 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Despite the Bucks shooting at just 35 percent from the field and coughing up 14 turnovers, they still ran out winners against a lacklustre Heat side.
Brandon Jennings (23 points) top scored for the Bucks, who outpointed the Heat 26-19 in the final quarter.
The Heat had 21 turnovers and shot at 37.3 percent as they slipped to third in the Southeast Division.
Elsewhere, Roy Hibbert scored eight of his 18 points in the final quarter to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 98-96 win over the Lakers.
Not even a 33-point haul from Kobe Bryant could see the Lakers to victory, as they squandered a 27-14 quarter-time lead.
In other games, the Los Angeles Clippers eased to a 103-91 win against the Toronto Raptors, thanks largely to Maurice Williams' haul of 26 points.
Paul Pierce (34 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds) starred as the Boston Celtics beat the Washington Wizards 100-94.
In a clash between two struggling sides, the New Jersey Nets recorded just their fifth win of the season with a 97-87 victory against the Charlotte Bobcats.
