The Oklahoma City Thunder returned to the winners list in the NBA, with a 111-105 overtime win against the Dallas Mavericks.
Thunder star Kevin Durant guided the Northwest division leaders with 40 points, while Russell Westbrook shot eight of his 16 points in the extra period to see them to a 22-6 win-loss record, and an 11th straight win at their Chesapeake Energy Arena home.
It was a welcome return to form for the Thunder, who were edged by NBA champions Miami Heat last time out.
Although, the Mavericks pulled out all stops to force overtime - with Darren Collison's desperate three-point attempt finding the basket on the buzzer to bring about an additional period.
Collison finished the contest with a season-best effort of 32 points.
In the late tip-off, the Los Angeles Clippers made it 15 consecutive wins as they accounted for the Boston Celtics 106-77 at the Staples Center.
The Clippers bench performed superbly yet again, with replacements Matt Barnes (21 points) and Jamal Crawford (17) leading the scoring.
Guard Chris Paul had 11 assists, Lamar Odom picked up 13 rebounds - 12 defensive - and Blake Griffin netted 15 points in a comprehensive display, as they advanced to a 23-6 record this season and stay top of the Western Conference from the Thunder, who are second.
