LeBron James scored 28 points and added nine rebounds and seven assists as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the New Jersey Nets 94-86 to record their seventh straight victory.

The Charlotte Bobcats beat the Miami Heat 107-97 and seven Indiana Pacers players scored double figures as they beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 122-111, avoiding a ninth straight defeat.

The Houston Rockets led by seven points late in the fourth quarter before the New Orleans Hornets closed out the game on a 13-2 run to win 99-95.

The Phoenix Suns were booed by their own fans as they slumped to a 128-103 defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies, while the Denver Nuggets shrugged off the absence of Carmelo Anthony to beat the Utah Jazz 105-95.

The evening's final game saw the Portland Trail Blazers ease to a 105-89 win over the Golden State Warriors.
