Chris Bosh's stunning last quarter helped the Miami Heat to a win in the NBA, while the Toronto Raptors ended their losing run.
Forward Bosh hit 17 of his game-high 35 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Heat to a 92-85 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Taking on his former team, LeBron James struggled and could manage just 18 points, but Bosh stepped up to provide the spark.
Bosh's 35-point haul matched the best of his Miami career and was the biggest final quarter by a Heat player this season.
Top draft pick Kyrie Irving netted 17 points for the Cavaliers, who suffered a fourth consecutive loss as Heat returned to winning ways and improved to 12 victories, five losses this campaign.
Elsewhere, the Toronto Raptors ended an eight-game losing streak with a 99-96 defeat of the Phoenix Suns, mainly thanks to Andrea Bargnani's 36 points.
The win also marked the Raptors' first victory against the Suns since February 2004.
Ryan Anderson (24 points) helped the Orlando Magic rebound from their loss to the Bolton Celtics with a 102-83 victory against the Indiana Pacers.
A day after managing only 56 points in a poor loss to the Celtics, the Magic had few problems collecting their 12th win of the season with a strong performance against the Pacers.
LaMarcus Aldridge netted 23 points and Marcus Camby collected 22 rebounds to help the Portland Trail Blazers to a 97-84 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
The New York Knicks scored 38 points in the fourth quarter on the way to a 111-78 thrashing of the Charlotte Bobcats.
