The Dallas Mavericks held on to claim a 108-107 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, for whom Andrew Bogut scored a career-high 32 points to go along with nine rebounds.

Dirk Nowitzki top-scored for the Mavericks with 28 points, while Jason Terry added 21.

Western Conference leaders the Los Angeles Lakers with a 115-103 win over the Washington Wizards.

Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant both poured in 26 points for the Lakers, who pulled clear in the second quarter which they won 30-15.

The New York Knicks earned a convincing 132-105 success over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The writing was on the wall for Minnesota by the end of the first quarter, by which time the Knicks were 40-16 in front.

David Lee had 28 points for the Knicks.

The Charlotte Bobcats beat the Phoenix Suns 114-109 in overtime thanks to a 30-point contribution from Stephen Jackson.

Charlotte scored nine of the first 11 points in overtime to clinch victory.

The Sacramento Kings ended a seven-game losing run with a 99-96 win over the Golden State Warriors.

Beno Udrih had 24 points and Tyreke Evans 23 for the Kings, while Stephen Curry poured in 27 for the Warriors.
